It’s the first Trainers of the Month of the year, of the new decade even, and so you know I had to make sure they were stand out… I think I’ve managed it.
Reebok – Royal Techque T
To kick things off I’ve gone for these Reebok’s. They caught my eye because of the colourway, they also look quite smart. I think they could be pulled off anywhere.
Described as “So classic, so current. These men’s shoes feature a throwback vibe that’s just right for today. A smooth leather upper keeps them authentic while a cushy midsole provides all-day comfort.”
They’re available in a variety of colours I think it’s either these or the all white ones you need to go for. They’re available from Reebok direct and most colourways are currently in the sale with at least 20% off here.
Nike – Waffle Racer
Second on the list we have these suave Nike Waffle Runners, a re-issue of th 1977 running shoes with a moccasin-inspired upper, wedge midsole and Waffle outsole. Modern updates like a memory foam sockliner and dual-density midsole.
I initially had gone for the green but later I’ve opted for the Blue, I think this is a pair of trainers you could do with having both! Available for £74.95 from Nike here.
New Balance 577 Made In England
Third to the list are these New Balance, which you may notice have a similar brown to the Reebok’s (I told you this caught my eye), but with an interesting teal contrasting side panel. It’s a combination of leather and a textile upper made in England.
Available from Size? they’re currently on sale down from £150 to £110 here.
Adidas Zx 10000 JC Navy
So to the Adidas and this week we’ve gone for these ZX10000 JC. A nod back to the originals way back in 1989 this re-issue had input from the trainers original designer making them the perfect blend of retro and modern.
They’re available from END Clothing directly here for £130.
PUMA x RANDOMEVENT – Ralph Sampson Lo Trainers
Finally the last pair on the list comes from Puma and their collaboration with RANDMOVEVENT on these Ralph Sampson Lo Trainers. Again they’ve got a fantastically retro feel to them but are definitely smart enough to wear proudly on a night out.
Available from Puma direct for £95 here.
